Nigeria’s major challenge in Agriculture is low productivity of food crops and this can be attributed to the excessive use of Chemical fertilizers. Prolonged use of these fertilizers accumulate toxic elements in our soils which render them infertile and lower the quality of crops it produces. Our model is set to transition this predominant chemical fertilizer use in Nigeria to more environmentally friendly alternatives while upscaling crop productivity by 40%. Nigeria’s fertilizer consumption is estimated at 1.5 million metric tonnes per annum, this shows a ready market for revenue creation from this endeavor.
